The following terms are subject to change at any time, without notification, and are binding between any parties paying for or using Midwestern Mac, LLC's Hosted Apache Solr Search services.
There is no guaranteed uptime. We do our best to keep our servers running 100% of the time, but we can't and won't give any marketing numbers like 99.9% or 100%. We can say that we have had over 99.99% uptime on our servers since we've started offering Solr as a service in 2010.
Pricing may change throughout your contract period. We will always honor the price you've paid for the term through which you've paid. But there is no guarantee that the price will remain the same for your next contract period. If we lower our prices, we will give you an opportunity to switch to our lower rate.
In case we ever cease offering our Solr services, we will refund you a pro-rated amount of the payment(s) you have made, based on the term for which you have paid. For example, if you paid for a year of service, and we cease to offer our search service six months into your contract, we will refund you 50% of the amount you paid.
There is no phone support. Email and online support are offered, and we will try our best to respond within one business day. However, since we are a small company, working to make our services the best value for your money, understand that non-critical issues may take a little time to be resolved.
There is no obligation to continue your contract with Midwestern Mac, LLC. We will never force you to renew, and we do not store any of your financial information on our website or in our records. If, at any time, you wish to cancel your service, you may do so. We cannot, except in rare circumstances, refund the remainder of your current term. If you have paid for a year of service, and wish to cancel after six months, your full year's payment will not be refunded.
